Apr. 21 – How can Italy export it know-how to China to promote agricultural development, creating business opportunities for Italian companies while ensuring to the Chinese agricultural world the necessary skills, experience and technology to grow? This is the main question that the agreement signed today by Unimpresa and the Hainan Provinces Economic Development Promotion Association – a Business Association of in province of Hainan (an archipelago located in the southeast of China) – tries to answer. The agreement was signed in Naples, during the seminar “Hainan, a sea of opportunities – Following the Silk Road”, by the president of Unimpresa, Paolo Longobardi, and the president of the Chinese association, Wen Zhong. The agreement follows the line set by those already signed in past months with the administration of the Free Zone of Hainan and the Association of Agricultural Producers of Hainan (Gapea). During the seminar, the tour dedicated to Chinese companies was also illustrated: until Wednesday, April 29 representatives from the most important Hainan commercial and tourism companies will travel to seven Italian regions (Piedmont, Campania, Abruzzo, Marche, Tuscany, Emilia Romagna and Lazio) to visit dozens of factories and companies. The goal is to create stable relationships with Italian producers and buy “on the spot” products made in Italy. “This is a way to establish – explains Unimpresa – a bridge for direct investments in real Italian products, with impressive incoming flows from China in Italy’s clothing and shoes, accessories, furniture, textiles, leather, jewelry, food, and wine and beverage sectors. For the initial phase, investment are estimated at over €10 million, destined to grow and increase Italy’s export turnover.” (Red)
