Vienna – Seismologist Antonella Peresan, who for many years actively contributed to research activities of the University of Trieste, has been appointed Science Officer of the Seismic Risk Section for the European Geosciences Union, EGU. During the 2015 EGU General Assembly, held in Vienna, the different Sections approved the list of science officers for 2015-2016. Peresan’s appointment as NH4 science officer will also strengthen the scientific weight of the University of Trieste in the European geophysics community. (9Colonne)
