Silicon Valley – MicroBees, a company that develops integrated solutions for the intelligent management of objects and electrical devices, made its debut in the United States. From today until Saturday, a delegation from the company is in the Silicon Valley to develop MicroBees.com USA, the US version of MicroBees Technology, based in Caserta with offices in London and Dubai. The delegation was led by British and Italian partners, and included Alberto Graziano and Luigi Maisto, as well as consultant Antonio Leone. Their aim is to lay the pipeline for the promotion of integrated hardware and software solutions in the field of home automation. The goal is to establish a team of researchers (thanks to an agreement that is currently being defined with the University of Berkley) and relationships with the major players in the Silicon Valley, including Facebook, Google Ventures and Mind The Bridge Foundation. “A study by Gartner estimated that in 2020 the Internet of things will count 26 billion connected objects, a almost 30 times compared to 2009, when there were only 0.9 billion ‘smart’ objects,” said Maisto. The home automation system developed by low-cost startup allows, among other functions, to control remotely switches and monitor the power consumption of appliances. The system consists of three hardware devices (senseBee, wireBee and gateBee), an app and a cloud platform, designed for the intelligent management of electrical devices. (9colonne)
