Kotor – Trieste aims to attract large yachts present in the eastern Adriatic, providing moorings and winter maintenance services. This is the objective of the agreement signed today in the presence of the Region’s President Debora Serracchiani, between two consortia of companies based in Trieste (Trieste Yacht Berths and Trieste Refitting System) and Kotor Mar. Specifically, the agreement wants to promote Trieste as a destination for the owners of the approximately 1,700 large yachts, who each year stay in the port of Montenegro. With the agreement, the Port of Kotor is committed to raise awareness among owners of large yachts on the possibility of mooring their boats in Trieste and to use the various services for maintenance and refitting. One of the tools used to promote Destination Trieste is a USB key that contains a video tour of Trieste and Friuli Venezia Giulia, as well as the list of the operators in the two consortia, and the services offered.
