May 27 – The notes of “Nessun Dorma” by Puccini or Modugno’s “Volare” and the great Neapolitan song (with “’O Sole Mio’ or “Tu si ‘na cosa grande”) to the classics by Mina and Battisti without neglecting “the best” from contemporary music. All this in a show that alternates sweeping moments to those of great intensity (where the protagonists are the emotions) starring Emma Re. The Japanese public has long been in love with the singer from Turi, who for years – with her voice, talent and charisma – has brought the best of Italian music abroad. She now makes her already sold-out debut of “Italyana – A lifestyle” in Tokyo. The tour – which was produced in collaboration with the Italian Institutes of Culture of China and Japan – will see the artist busy in Asia with 3 concert-events: after Tokyo (at the Italian Institute of Culture, Auditorium Umberto Agnelli), Emma Re will perform on June 1 in Hong Kong (Youth Square Y-Theatre) and on June 4 in Beijing. With “Italyana – A lifestyle”, Emma Re brings to the stage a unique show which tells the beauty of Italy through the most important songs of its musical history, arranged in a modern and pop beat. Accompanied on stage by Fabio Scarbaci on guitar, Roberto Sabbi on drums, Danilo Ciminiello on keyboards and Simone Ceracchi on bass, Emma Re will lead the audience of China and Japan on a journey through space and time to discover the melodies and atmospheres that have made great the name of Italy in the world.
