May 28 – “Andiamo a festeggiare!” is the title of the 20th edition of Concentus Moraviae International Music Festival, scheduled for May 30 – June 25 in 13 different cities. Given the presence of Italian artists in the Festival, the concerts are sponsored by the Italian ambassador in the Czech Republic, Aldo Amati, and see the Italian Cultural Institute in Prague as media partner. The Accordone ensemble will present four different programs, with tenor Marco Beasley and organist, harpsichordist, composer and artistic director Guido Morini. Marco Beasley will also hold a workshop on “Recitar Cantando” on June 14 in the chapel of Austerlitz castle, in Brno. As part of the Days of the Harp Festival, Italian violinist Davide Monti and Irish harpist Maria Christina Cleary will perform on Friday 19 June at 7:30pm at the Castle of Velke Mezirici. (9Colonne)
