June 1 – The I-Talents music festival – scheduled from March to June each year – hosts a series of concerts to present the Hungarian public with the best of Italian music. Now in its third edition, I-Talents is an event organized by the Italian Institute of Culture in the city of Budapest. The last day of this year’s edition is Monday, June 8, with a concert by young pianist Marco Grilli scheduled for 7pm. The concert will see Grilli perform alongside the Hungarian Mav symphony orchestra directed by Tamas Csurgo at the Sala Giuseppe Verdi (1088 Budapest, Brody Sándor u. 8.) of the Institute. Grilli, already known and appreciated in Italy for his many performances, will perform in Budapest in the Concerto for Piano and Orchestra No. 2 in A Major by Franz List. The program also includes the Symphony No. 4 Op. 90 by Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy and excerpts from Italian composer Francesco Marino. Grilli’s performance completes a project that began last year with the Diapason Association. (Red)
