Bordeaux – Born in 2012 thanks to Luca Gardini and Andrea Grignaffini, BIWA – Best Italian Wine Awards is a ranking of the 50 best Italian wines. BIWA is considered today a reference point for all industry experts. And this year, on occasion of Vinexpo 2015 and in conjunction with the Milan Expo, BIWA flies to Bordeaux with a selection of its best entries. After Mexico City, London and Hong Kong, the Best Italian Wine Awards are back in France, in an area that boasts a very long tradition of grape culture and a great influence on the global industry. Within Vinexpo 2015, BIWA2014’s top ten will be introduced to French opinion leaders and experts, with tastings scheduled for Monday, June 15, from 9.30 to 11.00 at Tasting Lab 2 – Hall 2 during the event “Best Italian Wine Awards, le firmament des vins italiens “.
