Astana – Sace’s new projects, for a total commitment of €800 million, see the Italian company increasingly involved in Kazkhistan in a diverse range of industries. The projects, currently under assessment, deal mainly with oil & gas equipment supplies for the petrochemical sector, and machinery for agriculture and metals sectors. Kazakhstan’s $5 billion public investment aims to strengthen the country’s role in air, maritime and rail transport at the regional level; while it is collaborating with multilateral financial institutions to support small and medium-sized companies. SACE CEO Alessandro Castellano is set to discuss all of the above at Kazakhstan Day at Expo Milan, with the participation of Prime Minister Renzi and Kazakh President Nazarbaev. (9colonne)
