14 July, 2015 – The University of Parma and the New Jersey’s Institute of Technology (NJIT) in Newark have signed an agreement to implement a series of joint international degrees between Italy and the USA. The NJIT is a prestigious university with training courses divided into 33 undergraduate programs, 40 master’s programs and 19 PhD schools. NJIT is already a partner of the University of Parma for the internationalization program Human-Atlantis, an EU-funded three-year management engineering course. Yesterday, the Dean of the University of Parma, Loris Borghi, and the president of NJIT, Joel S. Bloom, signed the Memorandum of Understanding. Bloom is currently in Parma for the graduation ceremony of the American students part of the Human-Atlantis project. The project, which will formally start with the next academic year and will be open initially to students enrolled in the engineering and management programs, will be extended to all the Engineering and Architecture courses, offering students a new strategic training partnership.
