Hamburg – Fabio Fognini, after the Tuesday magic with Seppi and Bolelli that saw the three of them make it to the second round, steps into the court this afternoon of the Bet-at-home Open German Tennis Championships. The ATP 500 tournament on clay takes place at the Rothenbaum Tennis Center of Hamburg; the structure can host over 13.000 spectators and sports a retractable roof. The 28-year-old from Arma di Taggia, number 32 ATP and eighth-seeded champion of the 2013 edition, faces the Spanish Albert Ramos-Vinolas, number 55 ATP; but the Liguria-born player won all six previous matches. Andreas Seppi and Simone Bolelli are instead resting, waiting for their next opponents. (9Colonne)
