Gorcka – The Italian company Magip, as preferred bidder, was awarded a twenty-five year grant for the conduct of activities in the Municipality of Gorcka, pledging to invest about €10 million and hire 155 people, reports the local media. Magip will be responsible for the collection, waste disposal transport, production and distribution of thermal energy in the Municipality. In the first year, the company has pledged to invest €3.75 million, which will include the purchase of vehicles, 20,000 trash bins and 500 waste bins. Magip activities should reduce collection costs by 7% – 10% and heating prices by 5% -10%. (9Colonne)
