31 July, 2015 – Design, functionality, and technology are three values that characterize the Piquadro brand, a leading company in the luxury leather goods industry. Piquadro is synonymous with excellence Made in Italy, craftsmanship, fine leathers and attention to detail. The company has increasingly established itself abroad, with products sold in 50 countries through a distribution network that includes 103 single-brand stores, 57 in Italy and 46 abroad. And the latest success comes from Iran. The Italian company wasted no time and, just a few weeks after the historic agreement on nuclear weapons that led to the lifting of international sanctions on Iran, it inaugurated its first boutique in Tehran. Last night, in the presence of the Italian Consul Alberto Petrangeli and Marco Palmieri, Chairman and Managing Director of the Bologna-based companty, it opened the shop inside the Sam Center, one of the largest shopping centers in the Iranian capital. Located on the ground floor of the shopping mall, it stands alongside other prestigious international brands: the store occupies an area of about 100 square meters with two large windows and is stocked with a selection of seasonal and permanent collections, in classic colors and in brilliant and original shades, thanks to which Piquadro stands out from all its competitors. “I am excited about this opening in Tehran in such a historical moment,” commented Marco Palmieri, President and CEO of Piquadro. “The Iranian market offers great potential for growth, and we are confident that being among the first to arrive after the lifting of the sanctions will give us a head start with our competitors. The prestigious location in which we brought our brand and the professionalism of our local partner make us confident of great future brand development in Iran.” (Red)
