Belo Polje – The Brass Band of the Brigade Taurinense is in Kosovo to perform live at the succession ceremony of the KFOR Command mission. The occasion allowed the alpine musicians to perform in several concerts in major cities in Kosovo, including Pec / Peja, the headquarters of Italian leadership in charge of the entire western sector. The brigade spent two days to the municipality in which the link with the Italian contingent is particularly strong. On 02 August, they performed within the Base “Italian Village” where Italian soldiers, along with their Slovenian, Austrian and Moldovan counterparts, enjoyed a musical repertoire ranging from pop music to symphonic pieces, without forgetting the great national classics. The next day, the city’s main square served as a backdrop to the melodies of the Fanfare. In the presence of the Commander of the Multinational Battle Group West, Colonel Ciro Forte, and mayor Gazmend Muhaxheri, the musicians received the praise of civilians and local authorities alike.
