Lac Megantic – The Chief of Staff of the Army, General of the Army Corps Danilo Errico, congratulated the 1st Corporal Rachele Bruni for her fourth victory at the World Cup of Lac Megantic, Canada, in the 10 km race. “The results achieved in sports – reads a note – are evidence of the spirit of sacrifice and dedication that our soldiers give daily in all activities in Italy and abroad in the main areas of international crisis.” Bruni, of the Olympic Sports Center of the Army, had already received the qualification in the 10 km open water race for the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.
