Toronto – Sorrentino, Moretti, Bellocchio, Minervini, and Marcello make up the Italian presence at the Toronto Film Festival, to be held September 10-20. In the Special Presentations section, there is “Youth” by Paolo Sorrentino; in the Gala section, ”Mia Madre” by Nanni Moretti; in the Masters Section there is “Sangue del mil sangue” by Marco Bellocchio; in Wavelenghts there is “The Other Side” by Roberto Minervini and “Bella e Perduta” by Pietro Marcello, the latter just back from the Locarno Film Festival where he won the Youth Award. In the Short Cuts section, there is “Exit / Entrance or Trasumanar” by Federica Foglia. (9Colonne)
