September 9, 2015 – The art of cooking and Italy’s food culture will be among the protagonists of the annual Publishers’ Forum, the largest book fair of Ukraine, held in Lviv until September 13. Among the various expected guests, there is also Italian writer, essayist and translator Elena Kostioukovitch, who was born in Kiev. The author will present the Ukrainian edition of her book “Why do Italians like to talk about food” introduced by Umberto Eco. The book is a “tasty” food guide to the art of Italian cuisine across regions and centuries, published in 2006. The volume was reprinted this year for the Universal Exhibition in Milan for Odoya and Teckel Books. The work, already translated in 17 other languages, was published in Ukrainian by Casa Editrice Folio in 2015 in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute in Kiev.
