New York – The key event for the Feast of San Gennaro that animates Little Italy in New York takes place on Sunday, in homage to the tradition of the liquefaction of the relic of the saint in Naples. In the youth center of the dome of St. Patrick, people are welcome to come and donate blood at the “San Gennaro Blood Drive,” sponsored by the Sons of San Gennaro which has been organizing the festival since 1996 (although the festival is celebrated since 1926).
