Muscat – The Arena di Verona Fondazione is flying once again to the Sultanate of Oman, opening the 2015-2016 season of the Royal Opera House in Muscat. The Foundation will go on stage on October 1, 3 and 4 at 7pm. The set, by Franco Zeffirelli, will be directed by Maestro Andrea Battistoni. After the extraordinary success of 2011 with Puccini’s Turandot (direction by Franco Zeffirelli) and in 2014 with I Capuleti e i Montecchi (directed by Arnaud Bernard), the Fondazione Arena di Verona was again asked back to the Sultanate of Oman for its performance of Puccini’s Turandot.
