Washington DC – After a worldwide selection, the Editors-in-Chief of the prestigious magazine ‘The American Journal of Comparative Law’ have appointed Professor Mauro Bussani (Professor of Comparative Law at the University of Trieste IUSLIT) as a member of the Executive Editorial Board. The American Journal of Comparative Law is the quarterly publication of the ‘American Society of Comparative Law’, and is currently run by the Department of Law at Georgetown University (Washington, DC, USA) and McGill University (Montreal, Quebec). Established in 1952, the magazine is one of the few legal publications indexed in Scopus and on the ‘Social Sciences Citation Index’ (SSCI) of ISI Web of Science. The journal ranks in first place among the comparative journals in the ‘Top Publications – International Law’ by Google Scholar; and less than 6% of the articles submitted to the journal qualify to be published. The participation of Professor Bussani in the Executive Editorial Board of the journal confirms and strengthens the prestige of the Comparative Law Department of the University of Trieste in the eyes of the international academic community.
