Helsinki – The Ministers’ meeting scheduled tomorrow in Helsinki, organized every five years by the OECD, is dedicated to inclusive growth (the Minister for Simplification and Government Marianna Madia will participate for Italy. An event scheduled for today in the Finnish capital will present the proposals on public policy put forth by young people between the ages of 13 and 25 years. This very special consultation took place simultaneously in all European countries in recent months. The proposals – which in Italy has been collected by the Department of Public Service, in collaboration with the National Agency for Youth, through the questionnaire #ConsultazionePA – will be brought to the attention of Ministers at their meeting tomorrow, as a starting point to outline more inclusive governance. The OECD, in its action aimed at young people who want to have their say on how to make sure political and public administrations stand closer to their needs, also sponsored a poster contest aimed at young people aged 15 to 25 years on income inequality and proposals to counter the increase of these inequalities. The winning posters will be on display in a special gallery, today and tomorrow, in Helsinki. (9Colonne)
