Osaka – ICoN stands for Italian Culture on the Net, and represents a Consortium composed of 19 Italian universities that work in agreement with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to promote and spread the Italian language and culture in the world. On 5 November, an ICoN delegation will stop in Osaka to participate in the “Study in Italy Salon.” This year ‘s Salon, sponsored by the Italian Cultural Institute in Osaka, will take place during a fair of Italian products in the Hankyu department stores. The “Fair of Italy” is an event of great attraction in the Osaka area for all Italian aficionados, who, during the week of events, will have the opportunity to purchase high quality products and take part in side events such as photographic exhibitions and seminars. On November 6-7, the delegation moves to Tokyo for the second round of the Salon. The Exhibition, which is held once a year, promotes direct contact and exchange of information between the Japanese public and representatives of language, cuisine and design schools in Italy.
