November 30th, 2015 – The Ancient Rome of Julius Caesar, Augustus, Maecenas and occasionally that of Nero and Hadrian serves as the backdrop to Marco Martos’ poems, collected in the book “The masks of Rome”. To guide guests on a discovery of the Eternal City, the Italian Cultural Institute in Lima, in collaboration with the Caja Negra publisher, has organized an evening to present the volume by the famous Peruvian poet. On Tuesday 1 December at 7.30pm in the auditorium “Pier Paolo Pasolini” Martos’ poetry in free verse and classical metrics will reveal, between history and fiction, “The masks of Rome”. (Sip)
