December 3rd, 2015 – The Silicon Valley is a great business school that offers opportunities for growth and innovative ideas. At least according to Anna Giulia Balducci, a research fellow of the Interdepartmental Center BioPharmaNet-Tec of the University of Parma and CEO of the startup PlumeStars srl. Thanks to her entrepreneurial project, Balducci participated with nine other aspiring entrepreneurs from Emilia Romagna in the Silicon Valley TVLPx program, supported by Aster and Emila-Romagna Start-up. The trip to the Silicon Valley allowed the participants to learn how to improve their own products, not to mention the problems to be solved, the market and various financial aspects. Balducci and the other 9 entrepreneurs were able to visit the Google park and its 69 buildings, the headquarters of Apple in Cupertino, Intel and Plug & Play, one of the business accelerators and largest coworking spaces in the world (which has supported PayPal and Dropbox). The Emilia group also participated in networking events with venture capitalists. (Red)
