December 7th, 2015 – What had Adolf Hitler imaged of Italy and what did Benito Mussolini make of Germany? How did these images influence their actions and decisions? These – and many other questions – could receive an answer during a conference scheduled tomorrow in Hamburg. Speakers will discuss “the geography of regional dictators. Hitler’s ideas on Italy and Mussolini’s on Germany” during a conference (in German) promoted by the Italian Institute of Culture in Hamburg that will star the historian C. Jobst Knigge. The conference will highlight the different approaches of the two dictators to the country of the other: the appointment – for history buffs and more – is at 7pm at the headquarters of the IIC. (Red)
