December 18th, 2015 – Once again, Italian cinema rises to the occation and convinces foreign producers, ranking among the top 100 European films of 2014 that attracted more viewers in non-European theaters. The Italian success sees the national broadcasting company take the stage as producer for “Neverlake”, directed by Riccardo Paoletti and entirely shot in Tuscany and “Fairytale”, directed by Ascanio Malgarini and Christian Bisceglie, both produced by Manuela Cacciamani. These are two of the four films distributed by RaiCom on the list (the others are “La grande bellezza” by Paolo Sorrentino and “La migliore offerta” by Giuseppe Tornatore). “We are very pleased – commented Luigi De Siervo, CEO of RaiCom – because our goal is to continue in the overseas promotion of Italian excellence”. The production company that produced the two films in collaboration with Rai Cinema is Onemore Pictures, and demonstrated in both cases to be able to identify products and talents ready for the world.
