(January 5, 2016) Branislava Stojanovic was born 32 years ago in Kragujevac, Serbia. He currently lives and works between Italy and Romania. Most recently, she’s the author of the exhibition “Eco,” open to the public until Saturday, January 30 at the headquarters of’ Italian Cultural Institute in Bucharest (Aleea Alexandru 41). The Institute helped organize the exhibition with Irina Ungureanu, curator of the same. “From an early age – writes Stojanovic – I listened with curiosity and amazement to this mysterious voice, the echo, that came back to me amplified. Who was it? Where did it come from? According to myth, Echo was a nymph. According to science, Echo is a phenomenon produced by the reflection of sound waves when these encounter an obstacle. I just tried to give an image of this echo, a sound, an image that returns.” (PO / red)
