(7 January 2016) The literary meetings of the Italian Cultural Institute in St. Petersburg are back on track. The events, dedicated to the presentation of Italian contemporary books and writers, restart with Concita De Gregorio, famous Italian journalist, and her latest work “Mi sa che fuori è primavera,” published by Feltrinelli. The meeting will be held on Thursday, January 21 at 7pm, in the media center of the Italian Cultural Institute. Concita De Gregorio grew up in Livorno and graduated in Political Science at the University of Pisa. For three years, between 2008 and 2011, she headed L’Unità, the newspaper founded by Antonio Gramsci, as the first woman to hold this office. She later returned to La Repubblica as a columnist. For television, she presented the RAI-3 program on literature and culture Pane Quotidiano. In 2001, she published “Non lavage quest sangue. I giorni di Genova sul G8.” Her later books include “Una madre lo sa. Tutte le ombre dell’amore perfetto” (2007), “Malamore. Esercizi di resistenza al dolore” (2009), “Così è la vita. Imparare a dirsi addio” (2011), “Io vi maledico” (2013) and the literary experiment in duet with her teenage son “Un giorno sull’isola. In viaggio con Lorenzo” (2014). (Red)
