Tunis – Last night, the Italian Navy Aliseo vessel, part of the aeronaval Safe Sea security operation in the central Mediterranean, rescued Al Fath, a vessel that had lost contact with the Tunisian government for about ten days. The vessel, located about 100 miles south east of Lampedusa, suffered an engine failure and drifted away in adverse sea conditions. The six crew members were in good health, and were assisted and fed. The Aliseo supported the boat until the arrival of the Tunisian authorities. (9Colonne)
