Prague – The Italian Cultural Institute in Prague is organizing, within the festival “Walking through art”, a concert featuring the viola virtuosa Jitka Hosprová with Italian violinist Maurizio Sciarretta. Scheduled for Thursday, February 11 at 7pm, the concert will take place in the exhibition space of the Kampa Museum. The festival was launched three years ago in the Pilsen region, but since last year it also takes place in Prague. The Hosprová-Sciarretta concert program includes music by W. A. Mozart, J. Gemrot, Rolla A., B. Martinu and J. Halvorsen. Maurizio Sciarretta graduated from the “Martini” Conservatory in Bologna. Winner of numerous competitions, Sciarretta is a soloist as well as an interpreter of chamber music. The concert is held under the patronage of the Italian Embassy in Prague, while the Italian Cultural Institute in Prague is one of the media partners of the event. (9Colonne)
