Rio de Janeiro – “The air at the Livraria Argumento and the presence of many friends I hadn’t seen in a long time turned the book’s presentation into a lively and pleasant event,” commented Eugenio Marino – Democratic Party representative for Italians Abroad – in the Brazilian city. His book “Partir sonhando”, edited in Italian by Cosmo Iannone Editore, was published in Brazil by Sesi-Sp, on the initiative of Italian-Brazilian Senator Fausto Longo. The presentation event, curated by the editorial staff at Vivi (the association that promotes Italian-Brazilian culture in the countey), saw the participation of local organizer Andrea Lanzi, who introduced and moderated the debate. The Italian Consul in Rio Riccardo Battisti was also there representing Italy and bringing his best to the author and the Italian community attending the event. Also in attendance there were Senator Fausto Longo and MP Fabio Porta, who both highlighted the relevant elements in the book about Italian emigration to Brazil.(9colonne)
