(2 February 2016) In an effort to deepen investment opportunities in Morocco and the development prospects of the local automotive industry, Italian companies are currently visiting the African country in a mission organized by Invest in Morocco in partnership with Anfia. In addition to representatives of Invest in Morocco, ANFIA, and the Moroccan Ministry of Industry, Trade, Investment and Digital Economy, a dozen Italian automotive businesses are in Morocco, alongside a representative of UCIMU, the Italian Association for Manufacturers of machine tools, robots, and automation. “For Italian companies that develop and build components, investing in Morocco is strategic – benefitting from the conditions offered by the Moroccan State, and taking advantage of the growth phase that the country is experiencing, with its positive effect in the industry,” explained Pierangelo Decisi, ANFIA Components Group Vice President and President of Sigit – an Italian components company with a production plant in Tangier.
