(12 February 2016) A journey to grow, train and enrich one’s knowledge; a journey to discover the homeland of one’s ancestors, new realities, and gain entrepreneurial and managerial experiences. All this in a training course, “Origini Italia,” that will continue accepting applicants until March 31. The Italian Embassy in Pretoria, South Africa, is the first to announce the course, but is not the only one promoting it: similar messages can be read on the websites of the Italian Representations in Washington, Santiago and Ottawa. MIB School of Management in Trieste, under the patronage of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and in collaboration with the Italian Trade Agency for the promotion abroad and the internationalization of Italian firms, is promoting the project “Origini Italia”. The course is aimed at young descendants of Italian emigrants residing abroad. The application is free and the organizers have committed to cover the travel fees for participants, as well as their accommodation and meals for the duration of the course, which lasts four months (from August to December 2016).
