Brussels – In 2015, Italy’s agri-food exports reached a new record: wine, cheese, salami, pasta, fruit and vegetables are worth €36.8 billion, of which 65% directed towards European markets and the remaining 35% out of EU borders. The striking performance is led to a 11.2% increase on foreign markets for fresh agricultural products and a 6.5% increase for food industry products. All this emerges from the analysis of the Research Office Italian Farmers’ Association on the definitive foreign trade data released today by ISTAT. (9Colonne)
