Moscow – Moscow and the Hermitage in St. Petersburg are the two first cities to host the world tour of “Essere Leonardo da Vinci, an impossible interview,” a show directed by and starring Massimiliano Finazzer Flory on the true life of the Renaissance genius recited in Renaissance language. The world tour will touch all the cities of the world that host one of the works by Leonardo, or where he left traces of his story. The tour debuts in Moscow on March 19 at the Nastrastom Thater at 7pm, later touching upon St. Petersburg on March 21 at 7pm at the Hermitage (which displays two works by Leonardo: the Madonna Benois and the Madonna Litta). The Russian leg of the tour ends on March 22 at the Erarta Museum of Contemporary Art. The tour in Russia is the fruit of the collaboration between Tatiana Shumova, Director of the Government Directorate for International Programs, Exponent Emerita of the Arts and Officer of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic, and the Italian Cultural Institute in Moscow and the CSAR Venice – Study Center on the Arts of Russia.
