Madrid – From today until May 1, Palacio Quintanar of Segovia hosts the exhibition “Mirada interior” by Italian photojournalist Valerio Bispuri. Promoted by the Italian Cultural Institute of Madrid, the exhibition traces from the late 1990s until today, some of the most important works of Bispuri’s career, with special attention to the Latin American continent. From everyday life in the Brazilian Amazon to Cuba in the shadow of El Che and the embodiment of a homosexual love in Bethany, a young Argentine woman, Bispuri manages to capture the complexity and contradictions of an entire region.
