Madrid – Living an international experience before starting one’s business, learning how a foreign company works, making concrete contacts in foreign markets to gain immediately an interesting international dimension… All this thanks to financing from the European Union which provides “residence scholarships” under the program “Erasmus for young entrepreneurs.” Within this program, the Turin Chamber of Commerce promotes the project Exage, which makes available 10 scholarships for young entrepreneurs from the Turin area, who will carry out their experiences abroad in 2016. The amount varies depending on the country, from a minimum of €530 per month to a maximum of €1,100 (for Norway), and the minimum length of the stay is 2 months. The scholarships are dedicated to entrepreneurs who have been in business for less than 3 years, and freelancers with an active VAT identification number. At the same time, 8 Piedmont companies will have the ability to host a European entrepreneur, completely free of charge, for a period of work within their company: welcoming young people, motivated and full of new ideas, is an opportunity for exchange and cooperation, which almost always never ends with the end of the stay. The Turin Chamber of Commerce participates in the project within a consortium of organizations from five European countries (Spain, France, UK, Portugal and Romania). (9Colonne)
