Beirut – The “Children Friendly Spaces” project, funded by the Italian Development Cooperation in the framework of the Mosaic program – and realized in collaboration with the Lebanese Ministry of Social Affairs (Meuse) and the Makhzoumi Foundation, ended a few days ago with a ceremony at the Holiday Inn of Beirut, in the presence of the Ambassador of Italy in Lebanon Massimo Marotti, and the Lebanese Minister of Social Affairs Rashid Derbas. The project made possible the support to several small local NGOs (seven in Beirut, five in Chouf and seven in Baalbeck) engaged in the creation of spaces, skills and tools for the benefit of children refugees in the country.
