Beijing – “We are concluding the first working day in China with great results. We know that the regional system enjoys growth and development prospects in health and hospital training, tourism, and economic and trade cooperation,” said the president of Italy’s Marche region, Luca Ceriscioli, commenting on a day of meetings that took place on 11 April in the Chinese capital. The day culminated in a long meeting at the Embassy of Italy with the Ambassador, Ettore Sequi, alongside some of Italy’s most significant representatives in China, including economic and judicial officials from the Embassy, as well as from the Consulate, from the Italian Institute for Foreign Trade, from the Italian Cultural Institute, from the Italian Chamber of Commerce in China. The meeting included Zhang Junhua, Deputy Director of the National Health and Family Planning Commission of the People’s Republic of China Health Human Resources Development Center (HHRDC), as well as representatives of the rectors of Marche Polytechnic University and University of Camerino. This allowed President Ceriscioli to set the groundwork for future cooperation between the health, university and economic institutions of the Marche region, and the Chinese Ministry of Health. The master agreement, which will soon be complemented with a specific operating protocol, strengthens already extensive cooperation between Marche and China. (9colonne)
