Yakutsk. Dr. Mario Barbagallo, professor of Internal Medicine and Geriatrics at the University of Palermo’s Faculty of Medicine, has been granted a prestigious international award. The honour was granted by the Minister of Health of the Sakha Republic (in Russia’s Siberian region), on the occasion of Arctic Day, during The International Convention on Aging in Arctic Countries. The Convention was held on 7 April at the Ministry of Health in Yakutsk, the capital of the Sakha Republic. Dr. Barbagallo gave the opening address. (9colonne)
