Herat – “Italy is proud of the work you have done. It is an example to be showed to all the contingents in Afghanistan”. This was stated by the Minister for Foreign Affairs Paolo Gentiloni during his meeting with the Italian militaries in Herat, Afghanistan. Gentiloni said that “After almost 15 years since the beginning of our commitment, during which we experienced also tragedies, we can know see great results. The challenge posed by terrorism is still open. However, it is thanks to your contribution that now life is starting to become more civil and the best condition for the construction of peace have been created”. ( 9Colonne )
