Islamabad – Following the two days in Afghanistan, the visit to Pakistan proves Italy’s the great attention to regional context. Gentiloni is going to meet the President of the Republic Mamnoon Hussain, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, the Prime Minister adviser on National Security and Foreign Affairs, Sartaj Aziz, and the Chief of Staff of the Defense Raheel Sharif. The Minister opened the mission in the Asian country with a speech at the National University of Sciences and Technology in Islamabad. During his speech, Gentiloni recalled that Pakistan has paid an “intolerable” price due to terrorism, with the Easter massacre in Lahore that claimed the lives of dozens of Christians.
