(April 29th 2016) Pier Alberto Cucino’s photography exhibition, “Veronese Visions” is still on display in Caracas until the 28th of May. Cucino is both president of the Italian Trade Agency and a photographer. His exhibition, inaugurated on the 12th of April was installed in the MAC room of the Italian Cultural Institute located in the Altamira quarter of Caracas. “Capturing Verona’s piazzas, its streets and its inhabitants in a summer’s day when the light begins to fade is a unique and unforgettable experience” explains Cucino and the ICI’s website. “What struck me the most was the colour of the stones that rendered the architecture and Veronese marbles a uniqueness together with the expertise of their architects who contributed to the unmeasurable beauty of this city. I would like to dedicate these photographs to the Italian communities in Caracas and Venezuela and to those who come from the Veneto region” continues Cucino.
