Lisbon. Wednesday May 11-19 at the Italian Cultural Institute in Lisbon, the scientific conferences titled “Italy and Portugal at the Poles” will resume and will be attended by Professor Roberto Azzolini, coordinator of the Italian Polar Programme who will give a lecture “The Italian Science at the Poles: History, sights, reasons, and challenges”. Professor Gonçalo Vieira, coordinator of the Portuguese Polar Programme the previously held the conference “Cooperação Luso-Italiana nas Ciências Polares.”
