(May 11, 2016) Lovers of literature will be able to attend a reading of excerpts from novels by contemporary European authors in ten different locations in Bratislava: markets, subways, bars, gardens and other cities of Slovakia such as Dolny Kubin, Modra, Nitra, Senec, Banska Bystrica, Trencin, Trnava, Zilina, Kosice, Banska Bystrica Kezmarok, and Pvazska Bystrica. The “Night of Literature” project takes place within the EUNIC cluster of Bratislava (European Union National Institute of Culture) and is now a key event for the Slovak public. The Italian Cultural Institute will present excerpts from “My Brilliant Friend” the first novel from the Neapolitan Saga by the well known Italian author, Elena Ferrante translated by Ivana Dobrakovova and published by Inaque publishing house. The famous actress of the Slovak National Theatre will be reading the excerpts. The event is organised by the Italian Cultural Institute in collaboration with EUNIC Bratislava. (Red)
