Yangon. On the occasion of the celebrations for Europe Day 2016, and as part of the promotional programme “Italy in Myanmar 2016: our legacy from the past, our vision of the future”, the Italian Embassy to Yangon presents the concert “Mad in Italy” by the ‘Mezzotono’ vocal group. The five singers will entertain, solely through the use of their voices, the Burmese public in an entertaining show, with the execution of an original repertoire ranging jazz, the mambo, and the traditional song. The Mezzotono performed in theatres in more than 40 countries where they have been a great success thanks to the uniqueness of their style and approach of their entertaining performances. Like all the events organised by the Italian Embassy, the concert which will take place May 15 to 19 at the Ballroom at the Novotel- it is open to the public and free of charge and aims to offer a unique opportunity to contact Italian culture especially the young Burmese audience.
