Hebron – Children are the future of every society and are also among the most vulnerable in situations of crisis and widespread violence. That is why the Italian Red Cross has supported the children’s hospital in Hebron, Palestine with a donation of €200,000. Another step in a collaboration that sees the CRI at the side of the Palestinian Red Crescent since 2005 with psychosocial support projects, but also towards health facilities, without forgetting aid during umanitarian emergencies caused by armed conflicts that have occurred over the years. The Hebron hospital is the symbol of this cooperation: the kitchen and dining rooms, two operating rooms and now the acquisition of new essential medical equipment that make this property a center of excellence for maternity care and pediatrics.
