Frankfurt – Starting December 2017 there will be new international rail links between Milan and Frankfurt, via Switzerland. This is one of the points of the memorandum of understanding signed yesterday in Lugano by the FS Italian Renato Mazzoncini, the CEO of SBB Andreas Meyer and the CEO of DB Rüdiger Grube. In addition to new links, the agreement provides better connections between countries and an overall improvement in punctuality. In the same framework, the CEOs of all European rail companies have confirmed, through a joint declaration, the will to create new networks to meet the challenges of future mobility. (9Colonne)
