(8 June 2016) The president of the regional council of Friuli Venezia Giulia Franco Iacop is on an Institutional Mission to Pristina, Kosovo. Today is the second and final day of the mission in which Iacop will attend the event organised by the Italian Embassy in Pristina also attended by representatives of the Finest (Finance company for the internationalization of the North-East companies) to talk about Friuli Venezia Giulia. On the opening day, however, in a first meeting with the Governor of the Central Bedri Hamza Bank, investment opportunities were analysed and a general reflection on the economic situation was also carried out. Vice-President of Parliament Xhavit Haliti, who headed a parliamentary delegation, exchanged information on the political and administrative management at the local level. Vice President Haliti has expressed great interest in the experiences developed in Friuli Venezia Giulia and in order to deepen various aspects has accepted President Iacop’s invitation to visit the region for some of formal meetings at various levels. The first day was concluded with a discussion with General Staff Luigi Miglietta, chief commander of KFOR (Kosovo Force), the international military force led by NATO that monitors compliance with order and peace in the region.
