London – Coming out of a labyrinth with quantum physics is super-fast. In the latest issue of the scientific journal Nature Communications researchers of the University of Florence’s Institute of Photonics and Nanotechnology – CNR in Milan and La Sapienza University in Rome, demonstrated their achievement of a super fast light transmission on the extreme geometry of a labyrinth. Human nature has always been interested in the search for the shortest and quickest route to a destination or the solution to a more abstract problem. One of the most complicated problems is to find the way out of a labyrinth a problem solved by researchers by combining expertise in integrated photonics, quantum information and quantum biology.
